Elliana Grace is 20 weeks old and has been nursed since birth. She has grown up in a very healthy, nourishing environment with her two dog brothers, Dillon and Bannon. She enjoys Mommy and Me yoga classes and spending time outside. For several years, her parents have used recipes from Nourishing Traditions, fermenting their own vegetables, hunting for wild game and shopping the local farmers' market. They have also owned a local cow share for raw milk. Elliana just had her 20 week doctor’s appointment and received a perfect bill of health, which parents attribute to the family’s healthy eating habits.
Emily is 5 months old and is exclusively breastfed. Her loving mother enjoys a diet of real foods that Emily has really benefitted from. She is one healthy and happy baby!
Jonah is a strong, healthy 9 month old who has been exclusively breastfed. His parents, Eric and Vanessa, value traditional diets in their home and frequently use Nourishing Traditions, their favorite go-to book for recipes. They also incorporate healthy supplements from Radiant Life, and are thankful for this resource. One of Jonah’s favorite first foods was Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil. He has never been sick and has been consistently been hitting his milestones early. Jonah is very active, and talkative for his age! His parents are excited to start feeding him more nourishing foods as he gets older, such as homemade bone broth, organ meats, pastured eggs, a variety of fermented foods, and raw dairy.
This is Benjamin, the fifth child in his loving family. All of his siblings have been breastfed into toddlerhood and the entire family has changed to more traditional eating habits over the past years, with greatly improved health! Although Benjamin is only 3 months old and hasn't started solids yet, he's benefiting as well. Mother Melissa states that since the family started drinking local raw milk, her own milk production has skyrocketed and she is able to nurse Benjamin and his 2 year old sister, as well as pump milk for a friend's adopted baby! According to parents, Benjamin is the chunkiest, biggest baby in the family, despite a small hole in his heart that might otherwise have inhibited his growth. Mom is really looking forward to starting him on traditionally-prepared whole foods when he's ready.
This is Everett who started on the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula at five weeks. His loving parents have since then adopted all of the WAPF dietary principles for his nutritional needs and say they could not be happier with his strength and health!
Meet Jackson, the third baby in the Jones family. Mother Lauriann, says she was devastated after unsuccessfully nursing her 1st and 2nd children, feeling certain that the family’s modern diet was the culprit. She spent the next two years researching health and nutrition and slowly switched to WAPF principles. Though unfortunately baby Jackson wasn’t gaining enough weight through nursing, Lauriann knew she would be using the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula and felt reassured. He gained 1 lb. 3 oz. in just 5 days on his new formula! Now, at 3 months people always comment on how bright-eyed, curious, and strong Jackson is! Mother Lauriann says she is grateful to Radiant Life for providing the ingredients in one place and for making it that much easier for parents like her to feed their babies nutritiously.
Meet Sabana Grace. During pregnancy, her mama ate grass-fed meats and cod liver oil. Sabana's first foods were egg yolk and liver. As you can see, her beauty is radiant and her intelligence is vast!
Alexander Keller is a happy 9 month old, who has been breastfed from a Wise Traditions following family. Despite the family’s habits of eating grass-fed meats and sourcing raw milk, Alexander struggled with several respiratory infections in his early months that concerned mom, Sarah. She turned to Sally Fallon's talks on DVD and bought the Nourishing Traditions cookbook, as well as Super Nutrition for Babies. Since following recommendations from these sources, such as taking cod liver oil and making all of Alexander's baby foods, the family is relieved that the battle with the respiratory infections has ended. Alexander is a healthy, chubby baby, developing just the way he is supposed to!
Meet beautiful baby Julian. He is 14 months old and still breastfeeds as he did exclusively until he was 8 months old. Now he also eats a steady diet of whole, traditional foods such as a wide variety of organic vegetables and fruits, grass-fed beef, pastured pork, bone broths and homemade yogurt among other things. He has never eaten any soy, HFCS, hydrogenated oils or GMOs. His mom Faith says, “he is a happy, healthy baby and we love having him as a part of our family!”
This is Bracken Lee Little Hawk Wilson, who will be 2 years old in October. Breastfed, his first meals were organic free range chicken egg yolks and organic free range bone broth from a farm some family friends own. Bracken has never been sick, and his family continues to follow the basic principles of the Weston A Price diet, with the exclusion of some dairy products that were found to be bothersome. Father Jeff says “he's very strong, very smart and as you can see.... way too cute.”
This is Tsomo, a vibrant 8 1/2 month old. She was exclusively breastfed until around 7 months old, and now mom Kristie also supplements with the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula. She is a beautiful and healthy baby!
Introducing Aayan, a strong and happy young boy. His mom Elena was devastated after she had no choice but to stop breastfeeding her son following several serious breast infections. She says, “I beat myself up over what I saw as a personal failure but then started to feel better after I found the raw goat milk formula recipe from Nourishing Traditions. I refused to feed my son commercial formula so I was relieved when I found the formula.” Both her pediatrician and acupuncture doctor greatly supported her decision to go with the raw goat milk formula and Aayan has thrived on it. He is very healthy and his mother couldn’t be more grateful that she learned about the formula!
Vita Sage Snyder was born January 29, 2011. Her parents Cassie and Cam tried all kinds of things to soothe their new baby as she struggled with acid reflux and colic. They tried the the Nourishing Traditions Baby Formula with some success and found that ultimately, by focusing on traditional foods and excluding gluten from Mom’s diet, breastmilk was truly best. Vita's vomiting and stomach upset stopped entirely without any medical intervention. Her favorite food is now salmon eggs. Cassie and Cam say they are forever grateful for what they've learned through the Weston A. Price Foundation and have been so happy to find many of the great products and books available at Radiant Life.
Sally, ND would like to introduce her little boy Jacob, who is being raised the Wise Traditions way. She says that the topic of nourishing children through wholesome diets is close to her heart and is delighted to be a part of this community. Sally also does her best to support this vision of strong, healthy children in her business called "Real Healthy Kids".
This is beautiful Ava who will be 2 in a couple of months and has eaten nothing but healthy, nutrient dense, whole foods since birth. Parents made sure that throughout pregnancy, Mom’s diet was also very nutrient dense, including foods such as desiccated organs & glands, cod liver oil, raw milk, raw egg yolks, plenty of healthy fats, and bone broth. The family also relied heavily on quality whole food based supplements and despite some difficulties during pregnancy, Mom made it to 42 weeks before giving birth to lovely Ava, who weighed 5 lbs, 2 oz. During the first year, Ava was nourished both by nursing and Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula. Ava is healthy and happy, and aside from a mild cold or two early on, she has never been sick. Dad David says that he attributes this to a healthy diet and lifestyle and is grateful for the knowledge and resources that have made it all possible.
This is Allison Verae. When she was born, mom Veronica did all that she could to provide her daughter the best form of nourishment, breast milk. But after 3 1/2 grueling weeks, Baby Allison Verae was not gaining enough weight, so mom searched for the most wholesome, nutritious alternative. She read the testimonials, research, and rationale for the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula and had peace of mind that everything was going to be okay. Veronica says, “I ordered my kit from Radiant Life Catalog immediately, and I thank God for this alternative. It warms my heart to know that my baby girl is healthy and is receiving the proper nutrition her little body needs.” For the past month and a half, Allison Verae has been completely nourished on the formula and has also started solids. As recommended in the book Super Nutrition for Babies, her first food was a yummy runny egg yolk, followed by braised lamb and souper stock. Allison Verae is thriving and truly one of the most happy babies!
This is lovely Mina. She was born at 41 weeks gestation, on July 29th, 2010 with the help of a midwife. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Her mother, Monica, states that during her pregnancy she benefited from daily spirulina and chlorella and the natural wonders of raw milk and eggs. The family diet is rich with homemade butter, kefir, yogurt, lots of broth with gelatin, bone marrow and fermented goodies like sauerkraut and kvass. Mina grew nicely on the Nourishing Traditions Baby Formula and was put on cod liver oil with fermented butter oil very early on. She also ate daily egg yolks mixed with her favorite food, avocado. At this point, her diet is almost as diverse her family’s! Mina is extremely observant, smart, loving with everybody and extremely social.
Meet Bjorn, a super healthy baby boy. He was born at 37 weeks after an hour (yes, an hour) long home birth. He weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, but gained a pound a week until he weighed 16 pounds! His mother, Celia, has breastfed him "on demand" since the moment he was born. Prior to getting pregnant, she worked to follow the GAPS diet. During pregnancy she maintained a mostly grain and gluten-free diet, and consumed fermented cod liver oil, coconut oil, fermented foods, bone broth, liver and raw milk and cheese. Bjorn’s mom says she also exposed her skin to sunlight whenever possible and took an evening walk everyday. Now Bjorn is an amazingly calm, happy baby and his parents have chosen not to vaccinate him. He sleeps through most of the night cuddled up with his parents and rarely fusses.
Introducing Joseph Riley, born October, 19, 2011. His Parents, Tarik and Melissa explain that they were incredibly fortunate to discover Nourishing Traditions four years ago, and through the Weston A. Price Conferences find the bounty that Radiant Life has to offer. The family integrated nutrient dense foods like fermented cod liver oil with butter oil, Pure Synergy , desiccated liver, ghee, sprouted nut butters, and gelatin into their diets a few years prior to and in increased amounts during pregnancy. Despite trying circumstances early on in the pregnancy, including these powerful superfoods and eating traditional, real food, laid a deep foundation for a physically easy and energetic pregnancy, an efficient 5 hour labor, a fine recovery and most importantly, a healthy, inquisitive, beautiful boy. Joseph’s loving parents say, “we are grateful to all these wonderful people sharing this life-giving information and to Radiant Life for making accessible foods of supreme quality!”
Baby Noah has been on the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula since he was 3 months old. His loving mother, Sarah, states, “my milk supply was not adequate for his growing little self and I was SO thankful to have a healthy alternative.” Now, Noah gobbles down his bottles and just loves them! He has been cured of an overactive tear duct and even stopped having allergic reactions after starting on the formula. Noah is content, happy, and healthy, and his mom attributes it to the Homemade Formula and Radiant Life products!
Meet Zoie Brainne. She was born via Cesarian, April 11, 2012 and was 7 lbs, 9oz and 19 inches long. Mom, Aleyna, says that she was born with a veracious appetite and while breastfeeding this little one was easy in some respects, it seemed like her baby just wasn't getting enough. Because feeding Zoie store bought “garbage” was not an option in mom Aleyna’s eyes, she did some research to find Radiant Life and the ingredients for Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula. The family has found the formula to be helpful and easy to make using local raw milk. It gives mom peace of mind in making sure that her baby is getting all that she needs and now Zoie also gets to spend hours at a time with her Dad, still having plenty to eat! Now that she is 11 weeks old, Zoie is in the 95 percentile for her age! She is already starting to grab things and is very alert. She is free from allergies, rashes, colic, or sicknesses of any sort and has beautiful hair, skin and fast growing fingernails! Zoie Brainne is just a very happy, healthy, fun baby girl.
Introducing Alden! He was started on the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula after difficulties with breastfeeding. His traditional mom, Rebecca, was disappointed at first, having successfully breastfed her first two children. She was relieved however, to have a safe and healthy alternative to turn to. Alden has sensory and feeding issues, so even though he's 18 months old, he still gets many of his calories from the Homemade Formula. His family is happy to watch as he continues to grow and thrive. Alden and his lovely sisters Charlotte and Lila, are all being raised on a nourishing traditional diet.
This is a picture of Gianna Brochu. She was born March 7th, 2011 and was breastfed until 6 months of age. After that, her parents wanted the best formula option available and commercial just wasn’t a consideration. They were shown the Weston Price baby formula recipe and went with it. Today the family couldn’t be happier! Dad Joe says that Gianna is brilliant and he couldn’t be more confident that they gave her the very best option. She is still on the formula, and her baby sister, who is due in Sept. will also be put on it when the time comes.
This is JuJu (Juliette). She is 3 years old and has been a traditional foods baby since the start. She was exclusively breastfed until 2 years old. At the Farm Co-Op where her mom Socorro volunteers, Juju used to be known as the veggie baby since she spent her afternoons in her Bumbo chair, happily munching away on many freshly picked veggies. Her favorites are tomatoes, bell peppers and broccoli. Now that's she's older, she spends afternoons there, roaming through the growing crops, picking berries and tomatoes. She happily takes her "yummy vitamin" (Fermented Cod Liver Oil) daily without complaints, drinks her raw milk, and munches on raw cheese cubes among other foods.
Meet Joshua and Jael’s beautiful baby boy Gary! He was breastfed, then weaned onto whole foods. He is a bright and happy baby with a loving family from Michigan.
This is Isaac. As an infant was fed the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Formula for a brief period when his Mom returned to teaching after an 8 week maternity leave. During this time he ate pumped breast milk, but also supplemented with the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Formula when mom Angela couldn’t find anyone to substitute her class so that she could pump. Isaac loved the formula! Fast-forward 2 years and he is a healthy, strong, serious and very bright boy, who loves just about anything to do with trucks. He can name any truck he passes on the interstate, builds them with his Legos, and loves using them to dig in the dirt.
Micah, the younger of two boys in his family is almost 14 months old. This picture was taken around 10 months. He is still breastfed at times, but his appetite for real food has taken over. He especially likes dried fruits, nuts, frozen blueberries, and coconut milk. Mom Angela says that everywhere they go, people comment on his beautiful auburn red hair and also can't believe how many teeth he has or how big he is for his age. To their comments, she simply says, "Happy, healthy, and well-grown food makes happy, healthy, well-developed babies!" Micah loves playing with his older brother, Isaac (who you can see above), being outside, and throwing his "ba" (ball) as hard as he can. He is as much a free spirit as his older brother is serious!
This is Atticus at 8 months old, as he joined his family on their annual strawberry picking day. When all was said and done, they had picked over 50 pounds of strawberries on this day to be processed in a number of ways: fresh, frozen, jam, fruit leather, dehydrated. His parents believe, that this is in no small part thanks to Sally Fallon, in demonstrating that food is the most important key to good health. Atticus’ family works together to bulk process corn, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries to last the whole year long. They also belong to a CSA and a food buying club to sustain them throughout the year. Through Nourishing Traditions and Wise Traditions guidance, the family has taken on a number of healthy habits: getting raw milk from a local farm, using coconut oil for cooking, taking cod liver oil daily, fermenting everything in sight and enjoying kombucha and kefir home brews. His mom TJ, says, “I owe much to these great sources of information and cannot even begin to express my gratitude!!!!”
Meet Mavry, pictured here at about 4 months. She is a healthy and inquisitive little girl! Her parents take daily doses of fermented cod liver oil and eat a real food diet to keep healthy so that Mavry gets all the good nutrients she needs through her mother’s milk.
Regina (on the left) is now 3 years old. She continues to be breastfed and her first solid foods were egg yolks, liver and avocado, all of which she still loves. She was born with many intolerances and poor gut health, but has overcome many of these through traditional foods and the GAPS diet. Regina is incredibly healthy today and now welcomes her new little sister Evie (right) who is loving momma's milk!
Nolan Glenn was born on November 8, 2011. Less than 10 hours after birth, Nolan began his fight-for-life. The family spent 4 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) where Nolan was diagnosed with a pneumothorax, dysphagia/dysplexia, hypotonia, respiratory distress, and failure to thrive. His parents left the NICU with a “normal” baby only to be re-admitted 1 month later for feeding difficulties. For the next two months, he underwent a series of arduous and invasive diagnostic tests, suffered through a hospital code, and finally left the hospital with the following diagnoses: severe laryngomalacia, which required laser surgery and almost a tracheostomy; severe obstructive sleep apnea, which requires CPAP therapy; dysphagia/dysplexia, which required a g-tube and nissen surgery; unnamed neuromuscular abnormality; and global developmental delay. Since arriving home, Nolan has been eating his mother’s pumped breast milk and has also been supplementing with the Homemade Baby Formula for 3 months. He is thriving and has come from below the growth chart to smack dab in the middle! His mother Megan says, “we have worked hard and celebrated much for each of his fat rolls!”
Maria was born born April 10, 2011 and was exclusively breastfed until she was 6 months old. Her parents William and Jenelle eat a whole food diet along the lines of Weston A Price and Maria has followed in these footsteps. Her first foods were fresh veggies and free range egg yolks. Organic beef, chicken and cheese were added in later. She still loves most of these foods and has become quite the fruit eater this summer. Maria is a social butterfly who loves to say hello to people she meets - especially if they are her size. She gives her friends and family lots of hugs and scrunches up her nose when her smile gets too big. Her mother Jenelle explains, “there are so many other things I could say about her but I will end that our family is blessed to have her.”
This is Andrew, a healthy, happy baby boy. His mom, Loriel, discovered the Nourishing Traditions Homemade baby formula when Andrew was about 8 months old, and he has been thriving on it ever since! During this time Loriel has also become a real foods advocate and has started to change her family’s diet to include more traditional, wholesome foods. She is inspired by the progress she has seen and is very passionate about avoiding all types of processed foods.
Meet Olivier, a healthy 16 month old from Québec, Canada. After a tough pregnancy and a difficult birth, his mother Lucie was incapable of breastfeeding. Olivier’s parents parents tried to give him several baby formulas, but he rejected every one of them. It appeared he was “intolerant” to bovine protein, but even the hypoallergenic formula would give him terrible colics. He was not sleeping, crying most of the time he was awake and seemed to be suffering a great deal. His Grandfather started to search for a solution on the internet and found the Weston Price Foundation, Radiant Life and the video of the homemade baby formula from the Health Home Economist, Sarah Pope. Olivier’s parents worked to gather all of the ingredients and were shocked to find that after he had the formula, he slept for a beautiful 5 hours! Since then, his condition has changed from A to Z. He hasn't been really sick since that day and is so happy. At 4 months old Olivier had egg yolks and it is still his favorite meal. He is a wonderful, healthy boy!
Eve Browne is a strong and very happy little lady. Her mother Linda was 41 years old when she was pregnant with Eve and was sure to take cod liver oil and eat lots of raw butter daily. Eve stopped growing in utero and was induced to come 3 weeks early at a whopping 5lbs, 1oz- much larger than anyone had anticipated. Two weeks post birth however, her mother suffered a heart attack from pregnancy stress and was unable to breastfeed. Since then Baby Eva has been thriving with coconut oil, cod liver oil, probiotics, butter, cream, and the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula.
This is little 20 month old Devon. Her proud mom Natasha discovered the Weston A Price Foundation and Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula as soon as she got pregnant and immediately started following its guidelines, which made sense as both of her grandparents had owned farms. When Devon needed supplementation by her fourth month, mom was devastated and at first reluctantly followed her pediatricians instructions to try commercial formula instead of the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula. Baby Devon didn't do well at ALL with the commercial formula- it caused gas and constipation. The moment the family went with their instincts and switched to the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula, Devon blossomed and all of her "tummy" troubles went away. Mom says “my family is so grateful to this formula I cannot begin to tell you!”
Say hello to Franklin of Roanoke, Virginia. His sly smile and come hither gaze make him one cutie patootie. Franklin was exclusively breastfed from birth, and is still nursing twice a day at 25 months. His parents practiced safe co-sleeping with both of their children and say that neither has ever had an issue with falling or staying sleep, even after transitioning to their own beds around 1 year of age. Franklin is a true omnivore- he eats green veggies, salad, all kinds of meat and other wholesome foods daily, cooked from scratch by his “chef daddy,” and often asks for seconds and thirds. He's been sick just once or twice in his life, something his mom Jennifer attributes to a combination of extended breastfeeding, selective and then eventually non-vaccination and diet rich in wholesome foods, as well as daily vitamin regimen of vitamin D3, probiotics, and a high quality kids multivitamin. Franklin is bi-lingual, able to speak English and sign American Sign Language. His parents say his smile and laugh will light up the room, but beware or he will plant a huge smooch on you when you least expect it.
Say "Hello" to Orion Daniels (known as Seven to his family)! He was born on October 9th, 2011 and enjoys a diet of raw goat milk with nutritional yeast, starting egg yolks and desiccated liver at 4 months of age. His parents follow the guidelines of Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon and recommend it heartily to everyone who comments on how healthy and sturdy Seven looks. They are very grateful that he hasn't been sick to keep them up even one single night so far! He is a strong, happy and smiling young boy.
Meet gorgeous 4 month old baby Arrow. He was born March 22nd, 2012 after a beautiful 24 hour labor at home. At birth he weighed a healthy 8 lbs, 8oz and was almost 22 inches long. His loving Mama Naomi ate a wonderful diet of nourishing traditional foods and drank creamy raw milk from the local cow share during pregnancy. Arrow is exclusively breast-fed and his Mama tries to give away some extra milk to other babies in need whenever she can. His parents are so in love!
Zeke was born at a healthy 9 lbs, gained 4oz in his first two weeks with breastfeeding, and then stalled out there for about 6 weeks. After seeing a long list of specialists and trying many techniques, his mother Zulieba, made the difficult decision to supplement even though she truly wanted to exclusively breastfeed her baby. Desperate, she thought about trying commercial formula, but in her heart knew this wasn’t right. While searching for alternatives, she stumbled across the recipe for Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula and has been using this ever since. She says, “Zeke still really enjoys nursing and I enjoy nursing him. So thankfully, we haven’t completely missed on that important part of our journey together.” They are grateful for finding such a wholesome and nutritious alternative.
Meet 17 month old Silas, pictured here enjoying a lamb chop. He lives with his loving parents, Steve and Courtney, in the flat plains of Iowa. Throughout pregnancy and beyond, their family has been nourished with whole foods, inspired by traditional diets. Silas was exclusively breastfed until he was around 7 months old, when he started to experiment with small bits of solid food. He continues to nurse with great frequency, which parents hope will continue for many months to come. Because the whole family eats an all organic, whole foods diet, the slow transition to solids has been easy, fuss-free, and actually enjoyable for Silas. He joins his family for every meal and is offered bits of whatever is being served. During this time he's free to explore with his eyes, hands, and mouth. His parents say that the range of foods that he eagerly eats (including his daily cod liver oil) is wonderful. In this picture mom had actually intended to cut up this lamb chop for him, but he was so insistent that she just handed him the whole thing. He had a blast using his teeth to tear off pieces and his gums to mash them up, revelling in the different textures, sensations, and delicious taste. As you can see, it really was a sight to behold.
This is Beatrice Anne Brink, born February 2nd, 2012 at home. Her family has been on a Weston A Price based diet for years, including foods such as raw milk, fermented cod liver oil, homemade bone broth, fermented carrots and sauerkraut, lots of coconut products, eggs from the backyard chickens and as many veggies from the garden as possible. Beatrice was perfectly healthy prenatally and at birth, but unfortunately she heavily ingested meconium during labor and ended up in a life-threatening heart and lung shutdown, which landed her in intensive care for 3 weeks. When her parents finally got her home and were able to teach her how to nurse and/ or take a bottle, she thrived on a combination of mommy’s milk and the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula. Today she is the picture of robust health, has a sweet disposition and is an excellent sleeper. Her parents credit her miraculous recovery and current perfect health to her strong constitution produced through good food in utero and the amazing life-giving homemade formula!
Say hello to Mason! The first child in his family, Mason is breastfed and growing up in a home where traditional diets are valued. His parents say that they experienced numerous health issues themselves before switching to a traditional diet, so it only made sense to raise their wonderful boy on these principles. Mom Shauna says, “It amazed me when we started solids that Mason actually enjoyed the taste of fermented cod liver oil!” To this day, he would rather have a spoonful of cod liver oil or virgin coconut oil mixed with a vegetable puree over a processed snack!
This is 23 month old Aiden. Weighing 7lbs, 6oz at birth, he tipped the scales at 31lbs at 12 months. He is very healthy, strong and smart! His parents Norman and Susanne say, “We are indebted to you for the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula!” Both of their adopted children have thrived on it. At age 2, their now 6-year-old named her baby doll "Sally Fallon." It looks as though Nourishing Traditions has heavily influenced this healthy family!
Say hello to Kamil! He will be 2 years old in August and is a strong, smart boy! His mom Alexis drank raw milk and ate lots of butter and cream during pregnancy. She also took fermented cod liver oil, extra virgin coconut oil and carrot juice. Kamil is still breastfed, but also loves salmon, chicken broth and beans. Kamil likes to talk a lot, knows his planets and can count to 12!
This lovely little girl has thrived on the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula since 1 month of age. Mom Jill says, "I am so thankful for this formula full of good nutrients, and for Radiant Life for supplying the ingredients for the formula. Thank you also for being so quick to send the ingredients once I placed our order." She is a brilliant, healthy, happy baby!
Introducing beautiful Heidi, born February 15, 2012 at 7lbs, 12oz. Her loving Mother Kristina followed a strict Weston A. Price diet 6 months prior to and during pregnancy, eliminating grains and all processed foods. Her diet included nutrient dense foods such as pastured eggs, raw milk, wild caught fish and 100% grass fed beef. Kristina also took fermented cod liver oil with high vitamin butter oil and noticed that the longer she followed these dietary principles, the stronger the enamel on her own teeth became. Heidi’s parents have noticed that their baby has high arches and a wide beautiful face, which they attribute to their whole foods diet. Heidi is a strong and happy girl!
Say hello to Nicolas! Born February 9th, 2012, he is now 7 months old and happy as can be! He was breastfed for 4.5 months and had to be switched to formula once Mom returned to work and milk production went down. He did terrible on commercial formula and was diagnosed with cow’s milk protein allergy. He was put on hypoallergenic formulas that he absolutely hated and were full of soy and corn products. His parents were so upset with having to give him these formulas. After feeling helpless with his allergies, a good friend advised the family to look into the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Formula with raw milk and ingredients from Radiant Life. Nicolas’ mom says, “It was the best decision we ever made!” His eczema disappeared and he is once again a happy baby with a big appetite and clear beautiful skin. He is strong, very inquisitive and above average on developmental mile stones, which parents attribute to his wholesome diet. Nicolas is now eating solids following Nourishing Traditions recipes. He is doing wonderful!
Meet Sophia, a healthy and strong 7 month old. She has thrived on breast milk and the Nourishing Traditions Homemade Baby Formula since birth. She is now eating her 3 minute egg yolk, avocados, bananas and liver. Her mom, Sonia, is so happy to have learned from the Weston A. Price Foundation that there is nothing more important than nourishing children from conception, birth and until they grow and follow the same traditions. Sophia is the happiest baby and loves her food. People cannot believe how healthy and strong she is, thinking that she already looks all set to turn one!
Meet beautiful baby Gracita! She is a healthy, happy 5 month old who is breastfed. Her Daddy is a personal trainer and her Mommy loves to eat real food.

Elizabeth sent us this photo of her beautiful 9 month old girl, Angel. She feels fortunate to breastfeed because she knows it is the very best thing to do for her baby's health. Elizabeth would like to encourage other mothers to breastfeed whenever possible, and says Angel even refuses formula at this point!
Meet Sawyer! He was born in a birthing pool at home at 42 weeks. He has been exclusively breastfed and is just beginning to explore foods. His Mama and Papa are very much enjoying his funny faces as he tries all these exciting new foods!
Moses Gabriel has benefitted from a nutrient-dense, traditional diet eaten by his mother throughout her pregnancy. The diet included grass-fed liver and butter, raw milk and cheese, bone broths, free-range eggs, kimchi, kombucha, a variety of wild game meats and fish, salmon roe, fermented cod liver and high vitamin butter oil for three years before conception. Royal jelly, thyroid and pregnancy supplements by Quantum Nutrition provided additional support as well. His wide-eyed expression causes people to do a double take as people sometimes think that he is a doll. Exclusively breast-fed, at three months he exhibits great strength and development beyond his young age. He can expect to enjoy egg yolks and liver as some of his first foods. His family is so thankful for the work the WAPF has done in promoting true, lasting health.
